The 6th step and technique one for changing your beliefs or self-­‐concept is to use the 3P Formula. The 3P formula is a specific way to formulate your affirmations. It’s a specific way to verbalize the new speaking you. Here is what it looks like. . . the 1st P is first-­‐person, the 2nd P is present tense, the 3rd P is positive. So, an example would look like this… “I am an excellent speaker!”
